Sometimes a very hard question to answer. If you're in love with that good old guitar and still want to see it live another day, that's one thing. But if the guitar is too far gone I'll save my time and your money and tell you no. Major structure damage can get very expensive.

Repairs on Martins, Taylors, and the like are worth sinking $200- $1000 into it. But with a $50- $200 starter guitar its just not worth dropping that kind of money. Also just because something is old doesn't mean it's vintage and expensive.
